FAQ
Everything you need to know about chartering a yacht in Mallorca with Bluebnc Yachting.
Our standard day charter is 8 hours. Typical departure is at 10:00 and return at 18:00, but this can be adjusted to an earlier or later start time. The total duration remains 8 hours regardless of departure time.
The charter price includes the yacht, professional crew, fuel for standard cruising routes, water toys and equipment on board, towels, and basic refreshments. Catering, premium drinks, and special requests can be arranged at additional cost.
Guest capacity varies by yacht, ranging from 8 to 22 passengers. Most of our motor yachts accommodate up to 12 guests. For larger groups exceeding 12 people, we recommend our YCM FIFTY (up to 22 guests) or a tandem charter with two yachts sailing together.
Most of our yachts depart from Marina Palma Cuarentena in the heart of Palma de Mallorca. Exceptions include PETITCHET (Fjord 52) which departs from Andratx, and PETITCHET II (Bluegame BG74) which departs from Portals. We can arrange transfers to the departure point.
We recommend booking at least 2-4 weeks in advance during peak season (June-September). For specific yachts or weekend dates, earlier booking is advisable. Off-season bookings can often be arranged with shorter notice.
Yes, charter rates vary by season. Peak season (July-August) commands the highest rates, while shoulder season (May-June, September-October) offers excellent value. Our real-time calendar shows accurate pricing for your selected date.
We operate under the MYBA charter contract framework. Cancellation terms depend on the notice period and specific yacht. Generally, cancellations made 30+ days before charter receive a partial refund. Full details are provided at booking.
Some yachts in our fleet offer half-day charter options (4 hours). Availability varies by vessel — contact our team to check which yachts offer half-day rates for your preferred date.
Equipment varies by yacht but typically includes paddleboards, snorkeling gear, floating mats, and a tender for shore access. Larger yachts may include jet skis, seabobs, and inflatable toys. Check individual yacht pages for specific equipment lists.
Absolutely. We work with premium catering partners to provide everything from Mediterranean tapas to full gourmet menus. Champagne, wines, and cocktails can be pre-ordered. Just let us know your preferences when booking.
Yes, every charter includes a professional crew. Smaller yachts have a captain, while larger vessels include a captain, stewardess, and additional crew members. All crew are experienced, licensed, and trained to deliver five-star service.
From Palma, popular routes include the stunning west coast (Sa Calobra, Deià), the sheltered south coast (Es Trenc, Cabrera), and the east coast (Cala Millor, Porto Cristo). Your captain will suggest the best route based on weather conditions and your preferences.
Day trips to nearby islands like Cabrera (a protected national park) are possible on faster yachts. Multi-day charters can include Ibiza, Formentera, and Menorca. Contact us for multi-island itinerary planning.
