Charter terms
The charter agreement
A charter is confirmed once the booking is recorded in the operator's central booking system and you receive a booking reference. The charter covers the yacht, its crew, and the dates and slot stated on your confirmation.
Charter days
Charter dates are inclusive. A charter from 1 September to 3 September is three charter days. Some yachts carry a minimum charter length, which is shown on the yacht page and enforced at booking.
Guests and safety
The guest number stated at booking may not be exceeded. The captain has final authority on safety, itinerary, and whether conditions permit sailing.
Weather and cancellation by the operator
If the captain cancels for weather or technical reasons, we will offer an alternative date where possible or arrange a refund of amounts paid for that charter.
Changes and cancellation by the client
Change and cancellation conditions depend on the yacht and the notice given. Contact us as early as possible; we will confirm the applicable terms in writing.
Liability
Guests are responsible for damage caused by negligence or misuse. Personal belongings remain the responsibility of their owner throughout the charter.
